This site is information, not an offer
Nothing on this website constitutes an offer, a quotation, a commitment to supply, or a contract. There is no signup, no trial and no purchase available on this site. Any engagement is scoped, quoted and agreed separately in writing, and the terms of that agreement govern the work rather than anything written here.
Accuracy of what is published
We take the accuracy of this site seriously, and we hold it to the same standard the product is held to. Third-party figures are cited on the methodology page with their publisher, date and a link so you can check them. Figures about the product come from live deployments.
Illustrative material is labelled as illustrative. The demonstration scorecard, the demonstration lead table and the demonstration hiring signal use invented companies and invented evidence, and each says so on the page. They are there to show structure and interaction, not to report a real cohort.
The published scoring rubric, metric definitions and known limits describe how the method works. They may be revised as the method improves. A revision changes what we do going forward; it is not a claim about what a past report contained.
The site assistant
The chat widget is a convenience for navigating what this site publishes. It can be wrong, it can misread a question, and it is not a substitute for the written pages or for talking to a person. It will not quote pricing because there is none to quote. Nothing it says creates an obligation, a quotation, or a commitment of any kind, and where it conflicts with the written pages, the written pages are correct.
Do not enter confidential information into it.
Intellectual property
The content, design, scoring rubric, metric definitions and code of this site are owned by DigitalTreehouse unless stated otherwise. The scoring rubric is published so that anyone can check our work against it, and you are welcome to read it, quote it with attribution, and hold us to it. Reproducing it as your own standard is not covered by that.
Third-party names appearing in citations belong to their respective owners and are used to identify the source of a cited finding.
Links to other sites
Where this site links to a third-party source, that link is there so you can verify a citation. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt this site, extract data through automated means at a rate that degrades it for others, or use the contact form or site assistant to transmit unlawful or abusive content. Automated submissions to the contact form are filtered.
Liability
This website is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on general information published here. That limitation is about this website. Obligations we take on in a client engagement are set out in that engagement’s agreement and are not limited by this page.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The date at the top changes when they do. Continuing to use the site after a change means the updated terms apply to that use.
